  • NBAA Member Steps Up In Joplin, Mo.

    NBAA outlines how members are working to help those in the midwest affected by the devastating tornado in Joplin, Mo.  Wayne Adolphsen, owner of Missouri-based aircraft service company Mizzou Aviation says his ramp at the Joplin Regional Airport has been flooded with flights evacuating the wounded and bringing in medical and other supplies for victims.  If you or your company would like to provide relief support, for this and other emergencies, please visit the NBAA Humanitarian Emergency Response Operator (HERO) Database to register.

    Work on the Hawker 450, Hawker Beechcraft’s clean-sheet twinjet, is not going to resume soon, says company Chairman and CEO Bill Boisture in The Weekly of Business Aviation (subscribers only).

    ABS Jets has seen business boom since it signed a deal with Avcon Jet to open an Embraer line maintenance station at Ukraine's Kiev Borispol airport, reports AMT.  ABS also signed an agreement with Emirates CAE training to train pilots for multiple aircraft at Emirates-CAE Flight Training in Dubai.
