Embraer delivered the first Lineage 1000 executive jet, derived from the Embraer 190 airliner, yesterday in São José dos Campos, Brazil to Aamer Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Prestige Jet, also of Abu Dhabi, will manage the aircraft on his behalf. The new aircraft will be on exhibit on the EBACE static display line, May 12-14, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Embraer President & CEO Frederico Fleury Curado noted that the maximum range of the Lineage 1000 -- originally projected to be 4,200 nautical miles with eight passengers, and 4,350 nautical miles with four passengers—has proved to be 4,400 nautical miles with eight passengers, and 4,500 nautical miles with four passengers with NBAA IFR reserves.
The Lineage 1000 is Embraer’s largest executive jet with a total cabin volume of 4,085 cubic feet and carry up to 18 passengers, depending on interior configuration, which can have as many as five distinct privacy zones and three lavatories, and can even be equipped with a stand-up shower.
