Airbus has just released this new image of the A350XWB twin-widebody in a VIP version.

The A350XWB Prestige is the latest offering Airbus has in the VIP market. The aircraft maker so far has two orders for the aircraft.

The two A350 VIP versions with customers so far are both in the A350-900 configuration, which is the first in the three passenger aircraft family that will hit the market. The -800 and the -1000 are still with no orders to their name.

CJet was the first buyer last year. The name of the second buyer is not know, although aircraft management will fall to Hong Kong-based BAA Jet Management. But two things are clear about the customer, the  buyer has plenty of cash and a healthy amount of patience. The first passenger A350-900 isn’t slated to go to customers until mid-2013 – and that’s barring delays that have typified recent Airbus and Boeing developments.

Through the end of April, Airbus had a total of 135 executive and private jet orders. The best seller, by far, is the A319 ACJ, with 68 orders and 47 aircraft in service.
