The Bayern's deployment will last five months.Bayern (photo: EUNAVFOR Somalia)The German navy lists the anti-piracy assets on board German ships participating in Operation Atalanta as helicopters, boarding teams, vessel protection teams, military police, medics, interpreters and legal advisers. Also participating in Operation Atalanta are Spanish, Portuguese and Greek warships and Spanish and Luxembourg maritime patrol aircraft.
