The Danish military is borrowing two Dutch Raven unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems for half a year. Each system consists of three mini UAVs and a ground station.Dutch Ministry of Defense photoThe Danes are borrowing extra Ravens to augment systems they have already deployed in Afghanistan or which are being used for pre-deployment training.The lending of the Ravens will not affect the deployment of Raven by the Netherlands and the Danes have signed a contract committing to pay for any damage there might be to the systems, according to the Dutch Ministry of Defense.
