The Royal Thai Air Force has graduated a second cadre of Gripen personnel, now ready to join the fleet of single-engine fighters already deployed in the country.Six pilots and ten technicians were part of the second course that underwent training in Sweden. The pilots have been in Sweden since February, whereas the maintenance personnel have spent a year in Sweden. Thailand operates six Gripens to date, and plans to receive six more. They will join Wing 7 at RTAFB Surat Thani.
