  • PICTURE: India's First C-130J Ready to Fly

    The first of six C-130Js for the Indian Air Force's special-operations forces is out of the paint shop at Lockheed Martin's Marietta, Ga., plant and being prepared for flight test.

    The aircraft is to be delivered at the end of the year. The deal includes training and unique special-operations equipment. CAE is supplying a full mission simulator to be installed at Hindan airbase by early 2011.
