The Atlantic Council's breakdown of allied sorties over Libya reported by Robert does not include the Belgian contribution.Belgian Defense photoBelgian media reported yesterday that Defense Minister Pieter de Crem gave a figure of 1,880 hours and 365 bombs dropped by the Belgian F-16s participating in Operation Unified Protector (OUP). This includes 16 missions totaling 48 hours over the weekend.De Crem also gave a figure for the cost of Belgian participation in OUP of €25 million ($36 million) over the last five months, which is covered by an interdepartmental "common pot" for unforeseen spending. The first three months of OUP, costing €13.748 million, have already been paid for.
