Sailors from Plymouth-based warship HMS Somerset have conducted a mission aimed at hunting out pirates operating from war-torn Somalia. The ship is operating as part of the TAURUS 09 Task Group which is currently returning from the Royal Navy's biggest deployment to the Far East in more than a decade. The Task Group, currently comprised of flagship HMS Bulwark, HMS Ocean, HMS Somerset, RFA Wave Ruler and USS Mitscher, is attached to Coalition Task Force 151, set up to counter growing incidents of piracy in the region.
