Time to watch the movie Canadian Bacon again. The Royal Canadian Navy hunter-killer submarine HMCS Victoria torpedoed and sank the U.S. Navy's USNS Concord off Hawaii on July 17. Photo and video: Canadian Forces Combat Camera Thankfully the Concord was decommissioned and the sinking by a Mk 48 torpedo was part of the annual Rim of the Pacific (Rimpac) 2012 multinational exercise. So we won't have to invade Canada just yet. Here's a video of the Victoria and the sinking, in the Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, taken from a Royal Canadian Air Force CP-140 Aurora patrol aircraft. Farewell Concord.
