Four F-15Cs from RAF Lakenheath, UK, landed at Siauliai air base in Lithuania on Dec. 30 and the changeover ceremony will take place on Jan. 3.

The Belgian air force has been conducting the mission over Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with four F-16s since Oct. 1.

The U.S. contingent numbers over 150, including pilots, engineers, medical and communications personnel. When the Belgians were conducting the air policing mission, they proudly proclaimed that they did it with only 40 personnel.
