Endeavour Commander George Zamka flew the back-flip maneuver over the Pacific Ocean to give ISS crew members a chance to collect telephoto shots of the orbiter belly for analysis at Johnson Space Center.

The digital images will be downloaded tonight so experts at the NASA center in Houston can look for damage to the delicate ceramic tiles that protect the shuttle from the heat of reentry.

The shuttle is scheduled to dock with the ISS shortly after midnight EST.
