As the press conference finished around 1am Pacific time, Odyssey was starting to relay more imagery back from Curiosity. Although raw and far from the higher fidelity images NASA expects to be getting from the rover, these are fascinating first hints at the images of the walls of the vast Gale Crater into which the spacecraft descended.
