    These images of today's SpaceShipTwo's first captive carriage flight test beneath the 140 ft-span wing of the Scaled Composites-built Virgin Galactic White Knight Two (WK2) mothership, give perhaps the best visual indication yet of the sheer scale of the sub-orbital project and its lofty ambitions. No technical details of the test flight are yet available from Scaled or Virgin, but we'll do our best to keep you posted as information emerges this week.
