  • Last Second Delay for Falcon 9
Posted by Guy Norris 6:02 PM on Jun 04, 2010

SpaceX is awaiting a launch control decision on another attempt to try and launch the Falcon 9 rocket later today following an agonizing automatic shut down of the vehicle in the last second before launch at around 1.30 EDT.

Space X says an unspecified “out of limits” start-up parameter was the cause of the shut down. The clock has been re-set to T-15 minutes and it's back to the waiting game. The company is now standing by for a new T-zero time from mission control.
