The Mars Science Laboratory's team at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory released this video today tracking the mission as it leaves Earth's gravity, travels to and lands on Mars, and uses its instruments to study objects. Click over to Universe Today, which has more information from Doug Ellison, one of the computer animators on JPL's team. The rover is targeted to launch at the end of 2011.
