  • First images from Phoenix!

    In the last few moments the first images have come down from Phoenix showing the spacecraft is operating, the solar panels have deployed and the surface is textured with permafrost features as expected - less than 2 hours after we got confirmation of a safe landing!

    Incidently I inadvertently inserted a typo on an earlier post. Thee final descent velocity was 2.4ft/s when it was apparently 2.4m.
