ILA 2012 will be opened Tuesday afternoon by German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the new exhibition grounds of the Berlin ExpoCenter directly adjacent to Berlin Brandenburg International, which will be the capital’s future airport when finally finished next year. Following the 3 p.m. opening ceremony, she will tour the exhibition until 5 p.m.
