Spacecom, Israel’s satellite communications provider, is planning to launch communications services in Russia, India and the Middle East based on its latest satellite, Amos 4.
Launch is planned for June 2013 from Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Once positioned at 65°E It will cover Russia, India and the Middle East with multiple Ku and Ka transponders.
Amos 4 is the most advanced communications satellite built in Israel.
